Happy Monday. Below are the dates & times for some clinics hosted by the Midwest Force LAX Club. Per the last item in the email text below, guest players will need to pay $15 per 2hr clinic.

Dates & Times:
Sunday, September 27 1-3 pm
Saturday, October 17 8-4
Sunday, October 18 8-12

All clinics will be held at Indian Woods MS located at 9700 Woodson Dr. in OP

The Sept. clinics will be run by Coach Magee from Benedictine College. The October clinics will be run by Coach Magee as well as several college coaches that will come in with Lisa. They will also stay and watch the girls play in the Sunday afternoon 7v7 games. More details about the 1 1/2 day clinic will be available soon.

The local Force clinics are mandatory for all Elite players. I do not have everyone’s email so if someone can forward info to O’dell, Looney, Ryan please.

The clinics are also open to guest players so please pass the word to other players. They can sign up on the Force website as a guest for $15 per two hour clinic.

This communication goes out to all the parents of returning LSW Lady Titans LAX players. I just wanted to inform everyone that based on a conversation between your Lady Titans coaching staff and the Lacrosse Board during the Lax Board Meeting on 10 SEPT, we have decided that after 5 seasons, we will make the decision to refresh our uniforms in time for the upcoming season. Several factors were considered when making this decision. First and foremost, both the Lacrosse Board and coaching staff fully considered the financial impact to all of the parents of returning players, and we fully understand that asking you to purchase a uniform after having already purchased one when your daughter originally joined the team would be asking a lot of you, so it was not a decision we took lightly. Other factors considered were based on complaints from the players themselves on how the uniforms did not fit correctly, and the fact that the board feels that after 5 seasons with working with the same uniform supplier, it was time to seek more competitive pricing.
I truly hope all of you understand that there is never really a “good” time to refresh uniforms when every player (and parents of those players) are financially responsible for the cost of the uniform. Just know this is why it took us 5 seasons before we considered making the decision to move forward on getting new uniforms. That being said, please plan on purchasing a new uniform for your daughter when lacrosse registration comes along in a few months in preparation for next season. We expect the costs of the new uniforms to around the $75-$100 range depending on the results of the competitive pricing we will be pursuing.
Personally, I am excited to see the “New Look” Titans take the field next season!

Good Morning Lee’s Summit area High School Lacrosse Players,

Steve Morgan (LSN Head Coach) is happy to announce that LSN Girls Lacrosse has partnered up with Ottawa University Women’s Lacrosse and Summit Rehabilitation Center to offer a FREE clinic to High School players in the Lee’s Summit area. The clinic will consist of a 45 minute ACL injury prevention warm up session prior to a 2 hours lacrosse clinic that will be directed by Ottawa University Women’s Lacrosse Head Coach Brittany Frankenfeld along with members of her staff and team. The clinic will be conducted from 12:00-3:00 on Saturday Sept. 12th at the LSN HS lacrosse practice field. We encourage all Lee’s Summit area girls lax players to attend this FREE clinic. This is a great opportunity for everyone to improve your lacrosse playing ability as well as getting exposure to a local college coach along with learning how to prepare and take care of your body.
