This communication goes out to all the parents of returning LSW Lady Titans LAX players. I just wanted to inform everyone that based on a conversation between your Lady Titans coaching staff and the Lacrosse Board during the Lax Board Meeting on 10 SEPT, we have decided that after 5 seasons, we will make the decision to refresh our uniforms in time for the upcoming season. Several factors were considered when making this decision. First and foremost, both the Lacrosse Board and coaching staff fully considered the financial impact to all of the parents of returning players, and we fully understand that asking you to purchase a uniform after having already purchased one when your daughter originally joined the team would be asking a lot of you, so it was not a decision we took lightly. Other factors considered were based on complaints from the players themselves on how the uniforms did not fit correctly, and the fact that the board feels that after 5 seasons with working with the same uniform supplier, it was time to seek more competitive pricing.
I truly hope all of you understand that there is never really a “good” time to refresh uniforms when every player (and parents of those players) are financially responsible for the cost of the uniform. Just know this is why it took us 5 seasons before we considered making the decision to move forward on getting new uniforms. That being said, please plan on purchasing a new uniform for your daughter when lacrosse registration comes along in a few months in preparation for next season. We expect the costs of the new uniforms to around the $75-$100 range depending on the results of the competitive pricing we will be pursuing.
Personally, I am excited to see the “New Look” Titans take the field next season!
