REGULAR PRACTICE TIME
Coach Alex reports that starting tomorrow Tuesday 8/29 the regular Freshman team practice time wil be 3-4:30 PM on Center Field.
PARENT MEETING THURSDAY
Parents and players are reminded that the booster club will be having a parent meeting on Thursday 8/31 at Lincoln Fields with all three teams.
SCRIMMAGE FRIDAY
Note also that even though Friday is not a school day the Freshman team has a scrimmage against Danvers planned for 4PM @ Center Field.
NOTE: JV sessions will be 90 minutes long per Coach Jay. Freshmen may be similar, I have not heard from Coach Alex yet. I confirmed with Coach Alex his intention to run Freshmen practice until 5 PM.

IMPACT baseline testing
All players who have not taken the IMPACT baseline test at LHS need to report to the Athletic Trainer’s office on Thursday 8/24 at 11:50 AM. https://lps.lexingtonma.org/domain/657
FRESHMAN tryout schedule change
In order to accommodate the Freshmen taking the IMPACT test, the 8/24 Freshman tryouts will be moved to 1-3 PM.
Preseason Training schedule
The session schedule for all teams training on 8/28 and 8/29 has also been set.
8/28 Varsity 10am-12pm | JV 12pm-2pm | Freshman 10am – 12 pm
8/29: JV 10am-12pm | Varsity 12pm-2pm. Freshman 3:15pm-5:15pm

MID AUGUST REMINDERS AND ANNOUCNEMENTS

1. Notice – Waiver and Release – A Waiver and Release form will be required from each player participating in the pre-season soccer clinic. The form is linked to above. It may be returned by email (scanned copy) or it may be provided at the start of the clinic this Saturday. Players will not be allowed to participate without submitting it.
2. Final Call for the Pre-Season Soccer Clinic – The pre-season clinic sponsored by the Booster Club will be held this Saturday, August 19 through Tuesday, August 22. Times will be 10:00 A.M. – 3:00 each day, except Sunday when it will be held from 12:00 – 5:00 P.M.
All players should check in at least ten (10) minutes before the start of the clinic.
New registrants will be accepted. The cost is $275 per player. New players must provide a registration form. (See link above).
All players must provide a signed Waiver and Release form before they are allowed to participate.
The clinic will be run by Coach Gary Crompton (Bentley Univ.) and Soccer 101 Academy. A one hour lunch break will be provided. All players should bring a lunch, water bottle, soccer ball, and shin guards.
3. Reminder – Tryout Schedule – Tryouts will be held Thursday, August 24, Friday, August 25, and Saturday, August 26.
Freshmen tryouts are 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon each day.
JV and Varsity tryouts are 3:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. each day.
