This Just In from Friends of Lincoln Field Lights

We would like to invite the LHS boys soccer families to a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sunday evening, September 10, at the park. A mini Soccerfest will run 6:00-6:45, with food trucks on site. From 6:45-7:15 there will be a few short speeches, followed by the unveiling of a plaque (with your organization’s name on it!), and the ceremonial illumination of the lights. From 7:15-8:00 the evening will conclude with the first soccer games played under the lights. The event will be hosted by Friends of Lincoln Field Lights and the Lexington Recreation and Community Programs Department.

I would appreciate if you could extend this invitation to your organization’s membership.

Please look for the attached advertisement in the September 7th Lexington Minuteman. A similar ad should run in the next edition of the Colonial Times as well.

Thank you for all your support in this project. It’s exciting to finally see it become a reality.

Updates From Coach Alex

The Freshmen Danvers scrimmage planned for Friday will no longer be played and has been removed from the calendar.

Practices will be held at the regular times on both Friday 9/1 and Monday 9/4 despite school being closed. These have been added to the calendar.

PARENT MEETING MAY HAVE TO BE RESCHEDULED

There is a conflict with the LHS Girls scrimmage on Thursday that will affect coach Keith’s availability and may force the Booster Club to delay the start of the meeting a bit or reschedule it for another day.
