News and Announcements

August 1st, 2006, 6pm, East Orlando Baptist Church, 8287 Curry Ford Road (near intersection of Curry Ford Road and Chickasaw Trail) First Day of Practice! Practice Days and Times: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 6:00pm - 8:30pm, Saturdays 9:00am - 11:30am AFTER the FIRST Game: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays 6:00pm - 8:00pm How exciting! Also, expect chaos! So, let's be patient .. let's except some chaos ... let's be flexible! We'll try to get this first day and first week off as smoothly as possible. But ... (1). Remember - raining at your house or not, please come to the fields for practice (OK, unless we're talking hurricane conditions, of course). You guys know Florida - raining in 1 area and completely dry at the practice location. We know you don't want to just hang around waiting on the rain to end, but that is the norm for us in August. We'll monitor with the lightening detector and dismiss the entire Azalea Park Panthers association. That is because many families have children on different teams - boy and girls. So we operate as 1 Azalea Park Panther unit! (2). Parking – Please, park in the paved parking lot rather than on the side of the entrance road, which clogs traffic and is a hazard at leaving time. (3). Please try to go to the bathroom before practice. (4). Cars will be utilized for cover for lightening situations. There is not much space under dugouts, etc. But remember to wait until there is an official dismissal for a practice. 10 hours of conditioning is essential to move into pads and hitting. (5). Arrive early for turning in paperwork, equipment fitting, etc. (6). Conditioning practice (football players) for the first week - t-shirts, shorts, cleats - or whatever your particular Coach communicated to you! Please call your Coach or Reggie or myself (Anne) for any questions, problems, etc. Football Director - Reggie Hughes - 321-228-1689 President - Anne Wintsch-Reis - 407-925-4716 Vice President - Mary Harrell - 407-273-0763 See everyone there!!!! Go PANTHERS!
