Are you ready for some Colonial Homecoming??!! Yes, it's Homecoming Week for Colonial High School and as in years past we are a part of their Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, 9-7-05. Please, football players, wear your game day white jersey and cheerleaders, wear your APP Uniform top to the Parade. We meet at 5:15pm or so, at the football field parking lot. Bring some candy to toss out to the crowd along the parade route. The route is short and an easy walk in the Azalea Park neighborhood adjacent to the football field. We start at the football field parking lot and end at the school entrance near the Baseball field. The parade officially starts at 6pm. After the parade hang out a little to have fun on the football field with a DJ, games, and food. So come on out and have a good time at the Parade! See former Azalea Park Panther football players and former Azalea Park Panther cheerleaders in the parade.
Parade Route: Parade steps off from the stadium and turns Right onto Areca, Right onto Oxalis, Left onto Dahlia, Left onto Randia through school gates.
Post-parade festivities @ stadium includes: Live DJ, float & banner winners, food & drinks, moonwalk, bungee, wall-climbing, bonfire - 7:30.
Tuesday, 9-6-05, Practice 6pm - 8pm.
Wednesday, 9-7-05, Colonial Homecoming Parade - 5:15pm - be at the football field, 6:00pm - Parade starts, Music, games on football field, food, afterwards.
Thursday, 9-8-05, Practice 6pm - 8pm.
Friday, 9-9-05, Practice 6pm - 7pm, then go to the Colonial Homecoming Game at 7:30pm! Wear your jersey or cheer top and get in free (just the APP child).

Panther Families:
From now on practice to be held at East Orlando Baptist Church, 8287 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32822. They are located on Curry Ford between Goldenrod and Chickasaw Trail (closer to Chickasaw Trail). If you're traveling from Goldenrod to Chickasaw on Curry Ford, they are on the left. Yes, there's construction going on Curry Ford, but what road in Orlando isn't being worked on? It can be approached from Goldenrod or you can go around and hit Chickasaw (Lee Vista, Chickasaw) and get to it that way. There is probably some way to wind through those neighborhoods to hit Curry Ford also, but I don't know how.

9-11-05 Picture Day at Champions Sports Complex

Picture Day - Sunday, September 11th, 3pm - 5pm, Champions Sports Complex
Yes, pictures inside in comfortable 72 degree temperature!! Champions is a great complex and the Football Director will speak to each team after the pictures are completed for that team. There is an arcade and concession area and other things to check out while you are there.
Forms - to be handed out on Tuesday, 9-6-05. We would like the completed forms with payment included given back to the Team Rep on Thursday 9-8-05. Let's see how this method works. Please, come and be a part of the Team picture even if you do not plan on having individuals taken. The families purchasing a Team picture wants all their child's team to be represented in the team shot. Pictures are a lifelong memory. Our photographer takes great shots too and has excellent quality pictures. I know this should go without saying, but it is amazing how many pictures I have gone through the years between soccer, baseball, softball, football and cheerleading, that the pictures themselves have been not very good.
Picture schedule: Please be there 15 minutes or so ahead of time.
