The night was a battle and our boys played with 200% heart and of course, talent, to defeat West Volusia and West Orange in the Kansas City Tie-breaker round at Winter Springs High School. All who did manage to navigate the Halloween traffic and the change in fields ... THANKS for coming out to support the Panthers! Next opportunity for support .... Be prepared for weigh-in, cleat check, helmet check. Tuesday night, November 1st, 2005, the Midgets played South Central in order to advance to the Mid-Florida Championship game. 2005 Practice Information

Posted by Anne Wintsch-Reis at Jan 29, 2006 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
Azalea Park Panthers have to give a big "shout out" THANK-YOU to Azalea Park Elementary and Azalea Park Little League for allowing us to practice this Fall 2005 at their locations. We are eternally grateful to them both for helping out our organization! As of 9-8-05, 2005 Fall Practice Schedule - Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays, 6pm - 8pm, at East Orlando Baptist Church. From now on practice to be held at East Orlando Baptist Church, 8287 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, FL 32822. They are located on Curry Ford between Goldenrod and Chickasaw Trail (closer to Chickasaw Trail). If you're traveling from Goldenrod to Chickasaw on Curry Ford, they are on the left. Yes, there's construction going on Curry Ford, but what road in Orlando isn't being worked on? It can be approached from Goldenrod or you can go around and hit Chickasaw (Lee Vista, Chickasaw) and get to it that way. There is probably some way to wind through those neighborhoods to hit Curry Ford also, but I don't know how. This means practice on Thursday 9-8-05 is at the East Orlando Baptist Church location. This is for ALL Panthers - Football players and Cheerleaders! Thanks for your support. Go PANTHERS! 2005 Fall - Practice Schedule - Monday - Friday, 6pm - 8pm, at Azalea Park Elementary/Azalea Park Little League fields, starting August 1st, 2005. Azalea Park Elementary/Azalea Park Little League - 1 Carol Avenue. Please come in to the Azalea Park practice area via CAROL AVENUE - not Brosche. The school portables and a fence are on the Brosche side, whereas, a parking lot and access to the Little League fields and Elementary fields are always accessible via the Carol Avenue entrance. If you have paperwork or need equipment fitting, please arrive 30 minutes early to take care of that.
