Sign-ups for concession donations info is here!!!

We ask that each family sign up for the following:

1. Hot Food/Perishable Donations – Every family must sign up for at least 2 food donations (this is a correction from yesterday, two not one).
2. Drink and Candy Donations – at least 2 drink/candy items (this is a correction from yesterday, two not one).
3. Meet Volunteers/Jobs information to come.

Concession Donations Going to Drop Tomorrow

We hope everyone is doing well and staying excited for the upcoming season! We have a few important announcements to share:

1. Concession Stand Donations:
– The sign-up for concession stand donations will be available tomorrow at 9 PM. Please be on the lookout for the sign-up links.
– You will receive two links: one for perishable items and one for drinks/candy. Each family is required to donate 1 perishable item and 1 drink/candy item. Your contributions help us greatly and ensure our events run smoothly.
– This is a major way we raise money for the team. We are trying to offset as many costs as possible this year without doing additional fundraisers, so your support is crucial.

2. Weather and Practice Updates:
– If the temperature drops to 65°F or if the water is too cold, we will cancel practice. However, if the lifeguards keep the pool open, we typically proceed with practice.
– If you feel it is too cold for your swimmer to participate, that is completely acceptable. There is no pressure to swim in cold weather, and we respect your decision as parents.

3. Swim Caps for Sale:
– Swim caps will be available for purchase at practice for $15 each. You can pay with cash or a check made out to WWF Swim Team.

4. Apparel Order Deadline:
– Just a reminder that the deadline for apparel orders is today. Please make sure to get your orders in on time to ensure you receive your team gear.

Team Sponsorship

We have always asked organizations to sponsor our swim team. This year, more than ever, we need your help. We have some concrete work that we need to pay for to ensure the kids have starting blocks they can use, and it costs much more than we expected. We need all the sponsors we can get this year.

Would your business or organization like to make a splash? Dive into our swim team’s webpage and have your advertisement displayed for your organization. We have one level of sponsorship this year.

Platinum $50 donation or higher – Includes: Name, Website, Description, and Logo

Sponsorships higher than $250 will include a printed sign that will be posted and visible at the pool for swim meets.

Just a reminder that our parent meeting is tonight at 7 at the Westwood Farms Clubhouse. This is highly recommended, especially if you are new to the team. Hope to see you there!

Hi everyone!

Here are some important updates and reminders.

The registration deadline is quickly approaching. If you have not yet registered your swimmer, the deadline is May 16th.

There will be a parent information session on May 22 from 7-8 pm at the Westwood Farms Club House. This is an extremely beneficial meeting to go over the most important information about the season. This is highly recommended, especially if you are new to the team.

It is time to order swimsuits! We will be using the same suits as we have in the past couple of years. Aquatic Outfitters is going out of business, therefore we will not be having a suit try-on day. Please refer to the sizing on the site and ask your neighbors about sizing. Please order the team suit from Swim Outlet. They are recommended, but not required. If not a team suit, black or navy are preferable.
