WHAT: LC Age Group Championships
 
WHERE: Cheshire Communty Pool (520 S. Main St. Cheshire, CT)
 
WHEN: Friday, Saurday and Sunday (July 27th, 28th and 29th)
 
Warm ups at 7:00AM (be on the pool deck 15min. prior to the warm up)
 
Owen Breen will be swimming Friday and Saturday sessions.
Madison Mahar will be swimming Friday, Saturday and Sunday sessions.

Dear Orcas,
 
We had a fantastic start to our summer season by hosting a swim meet last Thursday for Darien Piranha and Westport Water Rat teams.
I would like to thank all Orca swimmers that swam their hearts off and did very well at the meet.
I also would like to thank all parents and swimmer volunteers for volunteering their time and doing such a wonderful job. Your time and support for the team is greatly appreciated.
A Special thanks to Pat Griffis for her volunteered time and all the work she did to make this meet a success.
From my long coaching experience I have to say that this meet was the best run meet in the history of Orca Swim Team.
Let’s keep up a good job and get ready for the July 12th meet.

Wilton YMCA - 50M pool
              Meet Reminder:  *see volunteers needed below*
WHAT: Wilton Y Wahoos Summer Open.
WHERE: Wilton YMCA (404 Danbury Rd., Wilton, CT 06897)
WHEN:
Friday, June 1st- 13&O warm up is at 11:30am. 12&U warm up is at 4:30pm.
Saturday, June 2nd- 13&O warm up is at 6am. 12&U warm up is at 12pm
Sunday, June 3rd- 13&O warm up is at 6am. 12&U warm up is at 12pm.
Be on the pool deck 15min. prior to the warm up. Coaches need to hand in a “scratch sheet” prior to the start of the meet session. If swimmers arrive late (without informing their coach in advance), the swimmer will be scratched.
 
WHAT TO BRING:
- White teams swim cap
- Teams swim suit
- 2 pairs of goggles
- 2 towels
- Teams t-shirt and/or sweatshirt
- Warm cloth to wear, to keep body warm between the races
- small snack and drink
- bag chair to sit in during the meet

PARENTS, PLEASE NOTE:
Parking. You may park across the street at the Wilton High School parking lot.
 
Message from the meet host-
Volunteering: Please pass on to your parents that we are in need of volunteers for the weekend. Because this is a prelim/finals meet, we unfortunately can’t staff it by ourselves. Please alert your parents to our need of 2 parent volunteers per team per session. They may check in at the beginning of the warm up session at the volunteer table near the computers. Thanks in advance for your team.
