CT Regional Championships Feb 24-26 , 2012 -Results!

12/U Boys+13/over Girls: Afternoon session times have changed to 11:45 am warm-up; 1 pm start.
 12/U Girls and 13/O Boys: Morning session times  unchanged- 7:30 am warmup; 8:45 start.

REMINDERS:

WHAT: Short Course Regional Championship

Friday, February 24th  Warm ups 5:00 PM (Only M. Abreu and C. Dardis)
Saturday, February 25th Warm ups:
AM session for 12&U Girls and 13&O Boys is at 7:30AM (NEED 2 TIMERS)
PM session for 12&U Boys and 13&O Girls is at 11:45PM (Please note time changed from 12:45PM) 
Sunday, February 26th Warm ups:
AM session for 12&U Girls and 13&O Boys is at 7:30AM
PM session for 12&U Boys and 13&O girls is at 11:45PM (NEED 1 TIMER)
Swimmers: Be on the pool deck 15min prior to your warm up.
WHAT TO BRING:
-White swim cap
-Team swim suit
-2 pairs of goggles
-2 towels
-Teams t-shirt and/or sweatshirt
-Warm clothes to wear between the races
-Small snack and drink
-Folding chair
PARENTS PLEASE NOTE:
-Please sign up to time at your arrival.
-Parents will not be allowed on the pool deck (unless you are timing)

Regional Championships February 24-26, 2012

  • Swimmers may enter 8 individual events and swim 7.  A maximum of 2 events may be entered on Friday, 3 events on Saturday, and 3 events on Sunday.
  • 7 year olds turning 8 between February 25 and March 15 may enter the meet. 
  • Outreach Athlete policy is in effect.
  • The meet entry deadline is 9 pm on Tuesday, February 14.  ICSC swimmers must contact their coach well before this date/time to enable the team entry to be completed before this meet entry deadline.

 MEET REMINDER : -

WHAT: Marlins 8&Under Meet

WHERE: Greenwich YMCA (50 E. Putnam Ave., Greenwich CT 06830)

WHEN:  Saturday, January 28th, 2012

WARM UP begins at 1PM 

BE ON the pool deck 15min. prior to the warm up. 

Coaches need to hand in a “scratch sheet” prior to the start of the meet session.  

If swimmers arrive late (without informing their coach in advance), the swimmer will be scratched (taken out of the meet and not put back).

WHAT TO BRING:

- White team swim cap

- Team swim suit 

- 2 pairs of goggles

- 2 towels

- Team t-shirt and/or sweatshirt

- Warm clothes to wear, to keep body warm between the races

- small snack and drink 

- Bag chair to sit in during the meet.


PARENTS, PLEASE NOTE: 

- TIMERS. Our team needs to provide 1 timer. 

- NO parents allowed on the pool deck (unless you are timing).

- PARKING. Please see parking map.
