DERYA BUCHARYA BREAKS 2 WORLD RECORDS AT UCLA SCM MEET!
WESTWOOD, CA - Nova Masters swimmer and Turkish Olympian Derya Bucharya broke both the 50 and 100 Short Course Meters Backstroke records for the 30-34 age group. In the 50 he swam 24.81 to blast the 25.65 former record held by Spanish Olympian Martin Zabero. In the 100 Back Derya broke his own record of 53.6 with a 52.8
10 Nova Masters swimmers competed in this first time meet in the new Spieker Aquatic Center at UCLA. The new pool features a 50+ long meter pool with a bulkhead and diving platforms.
