2003 All-American Eligible Panthers

Congratulations to the following Panthers who are old enough (currently in Grade 5 or above) and had a 96% and above GPA for last school year to qualify to apply to be an All-American Scholar. 2003 Post-Season Game Opportunites

Mid-Florida Championship Games: Nov. 1 - First Round Mid-Florida Championship Nov. 8 - Mid-Florida Football Championship Post-season Game Opportunities - per Mid-Florida/National Pop Warner: "Just a reminder the Mitey Mite teams will not participate in any of the bowl or challenge games." If you do decide as a team to participate in a post-season game, please try to schedule around November 8th since that is Mid-Florida's Championship Game. That being said, I'm now letting you know of 2 Bowl games on Nov. 8th!? (1). Bowl Games in Tampa, FL, November 8th & November 15th Jr. Peewee, Peewee, Jr. Midget, & Midget (a). November 8th: Foundation for Youth Development Bowl, In Tampa, FL Entry Fee = $125 - Includes Team Trophy (b). November 15th: Don Clark Memorial Bowl, In Tampa, FL In Memory of the 20-Year Pop Warner Coaching Legend Entry Fee = $125 - Includes Team Trophy Don Clark coached in Pop Warner for over 20 years in Massachusetts, Colorado, & Tampa. Don played football for Kansas State and the Kansas City Chiefs. He was drafted to fight in the Vietnam War in 1965. Don lost both legs in Vietnam. After his recovery, he dedicated his life to helping others and coaching Pop Warner football. Don is most famous for his love for the children and love for the game. Don claimed that the perfect season was to be 6 and 4 (6 wins, 4 losses). He stated that at 6 and 4 the children learned the best lessons about life. "In life, you win some, and you lose some; if your lucky, you win more than you lose." Team trophy and individual medals to winner and team trophy to runner- up in each game. Games to begin at 8am on Saturday with last game scheduled for 8pm. Two sites within twelve miles of each other. Official roster and fees need to be in the office of the St. Johns River Athletic Association by Thursday, October 30th. End of season weight will apply. All teams must be present at least 45 minutes prior to game time for weigh in and book check. Team pairings will be done based on final season record and travel requirements. All divisions accepted from JPW-Bantam. BBQ dinners and regular concession will be available at site or dining arrangements can be made at various restaurants in the Palatka area. Concession Stand!!

We need to have Concession Stand volunteers from all teams! We have 2 hour shifts on every home-game: ~ 8:30am - 10:30am ~ 10:30am - 12:30pm ~ 12:30pm - 2:30pm ~ 2:30pm - 4:30pm ~ 4:30pm - 6:30pm. The Concession Stand is now our largest source of revenue, so please lend a hand in the concession stand! image
