The APLL Board of Directors is currently planning for a spring season. Subject to change, we look to begin playing games on Saturday, March 27th with the regular season ending on Saturday, June 5th. We continue to monitor mandates and best practices for outdoor sporting events at the national, state and local levels. As such, there may be restrictions in place as we launch our season and we ask for your patience and adherence to any policies we will be required to put in place for the safety of all those involved with our program.

For families that registered to play with APLL in 2020 – but did not request/receive a refund of fees last year – we ask that you confirm that your child(ren) plan to play at APLL in the upcoming season. Our Player Agents will be hosting a “Registration Confirmation” session on Saturday, February 6th from 12 to 3pm at Witchduck Hall (660 N Witchduck Rd). At this session, an updated registration form will need to be completed and your current credit will be considered payment in full for the season. Please bring updated residency documents to the session – these items must be dated or in force between February 1, 2020 and February 1, 2021. More information about the document requirement is available in the “Documents Section” of this site. If you do not confirm your registration, we will not assign your child(ren) to a team and will continue to hold your credit for a future season as the refund window has closed.

New registrations will not be taken during the session on February 6th. If you are unsure of your status with APLL, please email our Player Agents, Candace Mianulli (cmianulli@cox.net) or Kim Gliedt (k512381@yahoo.com), for more information.

Registration for the APLL Spring Season will take place at Witchduck Bingo Hall (located at 660 N Witchduck Road in Virginia Beach):

Saturday, February 13th = Noon to 3pm

ALL players should bring their birth certificate and 3 proof of residency documents to sign up. For more information regarding Little League’s RULES related to acceptable proof of residency documents for 2021 please check our “Documents” page.

Registration Fees for the 2021 Spring Season are:
League Age* 4 through 6 = $75
League Age* 7 through 10 = $90
League Age* 11 through 12 = $105
League Age* 13 through 16 = $120
All Challengers = free registration
Family Cap = $270

*League Age is defined by Little League International per the calculator at https://www.littleleague.org/play-little-league/determine-league-age/. Please note that the APLL Board of Directors shall decide the age-cutoffs within each 2021 Baseball/Softball Division.

Returning players must register before 3pm on Saturday, February 13th.

We accept cash, checks, and credit/debit cards!

NO ADDITIONAL FUNDRAISER REQUIREMENTS!!!

APLL Registration Fee Scholarships are available for families in need – applications will be available during our registration session at Witchduck Hall.

The APLL Complex is located at 595 De Laura Lane in Virginia Beach.

By attending General Membership meetings, you will stay informed regarding League business and events. Our meetings offer you the opportunity to ask questions, make suggestions and, if you are a Voting Member, have a say on League issues.

2020 Season Canceled

It is with great disappointment that we announce that the Aragona Pembroke Little League Board of Directors has voted to cancel our 2020 baseball and softball season.
While this was not an easy decision to make, there are still too many unknowns about the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and the health of our players, volunteers and spectators was the overwhelming factor. Our league’s safety is of utmost importance to us.

We had hoped to have an expanded fall season and began planning with the thought that Virginia Beach children would return to their classrooms in September and our area would see a decrease in the number of COVID-19 cases over the summer. Sadly, this is not the case and the Governor’s latest executive order for the Eastern Region of Virginia demonstrated that additional restrictions could be put in place in the future should conditions in our area not improve.

Players currently registered for 2020 will automatically be registered for the Spring 2021 season. Should you prefer a refund of your 2020 registration fees, in-person requests will be taken at Witchduck Bingo Hall, 660 N Witchduck Road at the following times:

  • Monday, August 17th from 5 to 8pm
  • Saturday, September 12th from 9am to 12pm
    Again, if you do not attend one of these sessions to request a refund, your player’s 2020 registration fees will be credited towards the Spring 2021 season. No email requests for refunds will be accepted.

The 2020 season will be 10 weeks in length, starting August 22nd and ending October 30th – essentially a spring season played in the fall.
We realize that some families may not be comfortable with play starting during the late summer, or may have other commitments for the fall of 2020. For those players, the 2020 registration fee will be applied to our 2021 spring season. Other families may not be able to play with us at all because they are moving from the area or have experienced an extreme hardship. We will also accept registration fee refund requests for currently rostered players at this session.

We continue to thank all our families for their patience and for keeping an open mind since we truly are in uncharted territory at this time. Our league is a non-profit organization and all registration fees go right back to our kids and the complex.
