Reporting Game Scores

Game scores are reported using Demosphere - the same scheduling & standings system that has been used for the past few years.  Coaches are able to report scores to Demosphere via phone using simple voice or keypad commands.

The coach of the winning team is responsible for reporting the games score.  In the event of a tie, the coach of the home team should report the score.

The instructions for phoning in game scores are as follows:

  1. Dial the toll free number 1-866-334-6294
  2. When asked, say or enter the PIN number and the game code (see below)
  3. You will then be told the division, teams playing, and field location - if this is the correct game, confirm by saying "yes".
  4. When asked, say or enter the score for each team, then confirm.
  5. You can do more games in the same call, or just say "goodbye" when done.

The game code can be found on the game schedule.  It is the number in the left-hand column with the heading "Game #".  See the image below for an example.

For security reasons, the PIN number will NOT be posted on the website; instead, the PIN number has been emailed separately to all coaches.  If you did not receive or have lost the PIN number, then please email the MSO Softball Committee with the subject "Request PIN to Report Game Scores".  Please be sure to include your team name and division as well as the name of your head coach.

MSO Softball

Maplewood-South Orange (MSO) Softball is a non-profit, volunteer organization which is committed to the promotion of girls’ softball within the towns of Maplewood and South Orange.  We strive to develop great young women both on the softball field and in our communities.  We aim to provide a strong foundation in the development of fast pitch softball and prepare the girls to play in a competitive environment while still having fun.  We encourage players to be supportive of their teammates, be coachable, and be enthusiastic.  We seek to provide a positive, challenging and rewarding experience for all players.

The Maplewood-South Orange (MSO) Softball program is open to all girls from Kindergarten to 8th grade who live in either Maplewood or South Orange.  MSO Softball provides girls with an opportunity to play in either the town recreation softball program or travel softball program.  In addition, MSO Softball provides educational and training opportunities for players, coaches and umpires.  See the relevant links below and in the left-hand menu for more information on all of the MSO Softball programs:
