Hello Lady Titan LAX Family,

First, let me say how proud the coaching staff is with our performance last Friday evening with our games vs Park. Although we dominated on the scoreboard, we feel there are things we need to work on, and with 2 games on the schedule for this week plus our trip to CoMo on Saturday, it looks like we are in for a busy week. Here’s what on the to-do list:

Monday 3 APRIL – Practice at 5…it looks like we may have rain, so I have requested an AUX gym. Keep an eye on your text messages and Twitter on Monday for practice location. After practice, we have a team feeding at the Boydston house. the address is: 4204 SW Duck Pond Dr, LSMO
Tuesday 4 APRIL – Our home opener games. JV vs St. James Academy at 5:30pm. JV players will need to be on the field and ready to warm up by 4:45pm. Varsity needs to be at the stadium by 5:15pm to be ready to cheer on their teammates. Varsity vs Olathe at 7:00pm. All JV players will be expected to stay at the stadium after their game to cheer on their teammates. Rain is in the forecast, so I will be waiting on word from our Athletic Director on whether or not we’ll have to postpone the game due to weather…monitor your text messages if that happens.
Wednesday 5 APRIL – Practice at 5…location will be determined by weather. We have a team feeding at the Munsell house. I will send the address out via Teampages text by Wednesday.
Thursday 6 APRIL – BIG Game vs SION at Sion. JV game is at 4:30pm. We need to leave the LSW parking lot by 3:15pm so we can get to SION in time to warm up and stretch. The field location is at 106th St and Wornall. (10631 Wornall Rd, KCMO)…there may be a $5 gate charge for parents, so bring cash just in case. Any parent able to drive please meet me at the LSW parking lot by 3:00pm…any player needing a ride should meet at the same place so we can coordinate rides.
Friday 7 APRIL – no practice
Saturday 8 APRIL – JV Out of Town Play Date in Columbia, MO (Cosmo Park). Game #1 vs Arkansas is at 10am. I plan on being at LSW’s parking lot around 6:45am, and leaving no later than 7am to get there by 9am. Game #2 at noon vs Jenks (OK), and Game #3 at 3:30pm vs Columbia. I have attached the map to Cosmo Park for your reference. Then we are planning on going to Shakespear’s Pizza afterward. If any player needs a ride, please let me know.

That’s it…it looks like a really busy week, but the season is upon us, so I expect every week to look this busy until the end of the season, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Lady Titan LAX Family,

First, let me say “Wow”…we looked great on both teams last night at Park. JV won 15-2 (and did not give up a goal in the 2nd half) and Varsity won 18-3 (and gave up 1 goal in the 2nd half)…I just wanted everyone to know that I have uploaded our game film to our online repository in www.hudl.com

Hello Lady Titan LAX Family,

I just received an email today from the Park team representative that there’s a possibility that the middle school where the game will be played will not have the bathrooms unlocked…they are working very hard to get this resolved before tomorrow night’s game.
If they do not have it resolved, they suggest that we use the Taco Bell or Caribou Coffee restrooms if needed.

Also, please remember to bring your own chairs in case there are not any bleachers available…

Thank you to all of the parents who have volunteered to drive….I’ll see you at LSW tomorrow afternoon around 2:50pm. I suggest you plug “Lakeview Middle School” into your GPS apps on your phones prior to the trip. I believe it’s Exit #5 off of I-29 once you get north of downtown KC.

Ok Parents,

I try very hard to not bug anyone about volunteering, but I was contacted by a parent on the Boy’s side trying to coordinate the end-of-season banquet, and she asked for the the girl’s team counterpart so they can work together. I was embarrassed to say that we did not have anyone who volunteered.

I know everyone is busy, but if you have some spare time and a giving spirit, the club would love to have your time and talent.

Welcome Back from Spring Break, Lady Titans LAX Family.

As we enter this week, this officially starts the games on our schedule with our first games on Friday 31 March (JV @ 4:45pm & Varsity @ 6pm)…so let’s take a look at what’s coming up this week:

- Monday 27 March —> Practice at 5pm…weather will dictate outdoors vs indoors. Chance of rain 50%
- Tuesday 28 March —> Practice at 5pm…weather will dictate outdoors vs indoors. Chance of rain 10%
- Wednesday 29 March —> Practice at 5pm…weather will dictate outdoors vs indoors. Chance of rain 100%
- Thursday 30 March —> Practice at 5pm…weather will dictate outdoors vs indoors.Chance of rain 70%. Team feeding immediately after practice at Maddi Sevedra’s house…I’ll send out the address sometime this week to the players.
- Friday 31 March —> GAMEDAY!! Our JV game is at 4:45pm at Lakeview Middle School in northern KC. The address is 6720 NW 64th St. Kansas City , MO 64151 We will be leaving LSW’s parking lot at 3pm to start the long drive. I expect a 45 min to 1hr drive depending on traffic…any parent willing to be an LSW Uber driver to get players to the field please meet me at LSW just before 3pm so we can get rides for every player. Also, I recommend that everyone bring a chair to sit on during the game as it looks like bleachers may not be available.

For the team feedings, here’s a list of all the team feedings and who has volunteered to host the feeding. I will send out home addresses as each feeding comes up…
