I just received the current list of names of those already registered for the Fall 7v7 league. Here’s the list of players I received:

As you can see, we have enough for one team with a couple of subs, but I would love to have enough for another team. This league is very helpful in getting players used to game speed again. Here’s how you can register:

As we go back to school this week, let’s just touch base on what’s coming up on the LAX calendar:

Fall Indoor Sessions – Every Tuesday night from 8pm – 10pm from 5 SEPT to 24 OCT at Lakeland Community Church. Cost will be $80 for all 8 weeks. You can bring your payment on the first night. (Checks payable to LS West Lacrosse)

The LS North girls lax coaching staff has coordinated with the coaches of Oklahoma Baptist and Benedictine College to run a girl’s lax clinic at LSN on 9 SEPT for $20. This is a great opportunity to get some college instruction and to show off your skills. I highly recommend you participate if you can.

KCMGLA 7v7 Fall Session – Will be double-headers every Sunday afternoon in October. Cost is $100, and registration is at www.kcgirlslax.com Games will be played at Blue Valley North HS (one block south of Sprint Campus). I hope everyone participates in this one, as I would love to field 2 teams like we did last season.

Registration for 2018 Season – will be in the first week of December. (I believe 5 & 7 DEC) at LSW Bateman Hall.

I have attached the information. This is a great opportunity to get some college instruction and to show off you skills. I highly recommend you participate if you can.

Blue Lions has girls signing up and are looking for more…please let me or Jay Coleman know if you are interested.

KC Blue Lions Is excited to end the Summer Girls lax season with a team in the Indian Prairie Lax tournament in Napervillle, Illinois July 28-30. The Girls Blue Lion Team had great success in Vail and are excited to play at Indian Prairie. Coaches for the tournament are Brittany Frankenfeld (Head Coach at Ottawa University), Jay Hertzler (Head Coach at Lee’s Summit West and recently named Great Plains Lacrosse Coach of the Year) and Kristina Coppinger (D1 player at Arizona State University).

• Twice a week practices beginning this Tues (July 11) at Avila University at 7:00 pm.
• A new uniform and a custom KC Blue Lion t-shirt
• The highest level of coaching available in KC to include a current college coach, a current NCAA D1 player, and the Great Plains HS girls coach of the year
• Graduated Seniors are eligible to play in this bracket
• Cost $325.00
  (If you have already paid for the Blue Lions practice sessions and/or played for Blue Lions in the Vail Tournament, your cost will be $175)
