Friday is Senior Night in ATCO. The ceremony will be at 7:00 (right before the game against Clinch). Come out and support our fall sport seniors and watch a great game.
CONGRATULATIONS to the Lady Rebels on a fine season! The ATCO Varsity Softball team earned the Area 1A regular season #1 seed, finished 2nd in the Area 1A Tournament, and made it to the final 16 teams in Class A Slow-Pitch Softball. This marks the first time since 1998 that the Lady Rebels have been in the state playoffs.
Great job Ladies! We are very proud of you!

The coaching staff for the Atkinson County High Baseball team will include two new faces this spring. Brad Porter is the new head varsity coach. Porter served as the head assistant coach at North Florida Community College for the past three years and as a high school head coach before his time at NFCC. Mike Martinez is a new assistant varsity coach. Martinez comes to ATCO from Taylor County High (FL) where he served as head coach and built an outstanding program. He also previously served as the head coach in Brantley County (GA). These two new coaches will join veteran ATCO varsity assistant coach Ken Pack and middle school coach Roy Burkett this spring.
Juniors Kenneth Burch, Shane Newmans, and Micheal Tucker were named to the 2001 All-Region 1A Baseball Team. Newmans was named the region Offensive Player of the Year after batting .356 with 12 homeruns and 44 RBI.
