This Week in Lady Titan Lacrosse - Week of 4 JAN
Happy New Year Lady Titan LAX Family,
I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I hope you aren’t struggling to get back to the grind as bad as I am. We had our first night of indoor lax last night. We had a great turnout, and everyone worked really hard. I just wanted to touch base on a couple of items for this week.
Returning Players – please find your game uniforms and try them on to make sure they still fit. Coach Casie has placed the order for new uniforms for the new players, and replacement uniforms for a couple of returning players. The longer you wait, the less chance you’ll have a new uniform in time for the start of the season. And yes, you’ll have to pay for any replacement uniform you request.
Everyone – please make sure you have a current sports physical on file and uploaded into your PRIVT account. if you need help with PRIVT, please let me know.
Everyone – now that we have started indoor lax, we now have to be extremely diligent with how we mitigate exposure to each other when it comes to COVID. Here is some guidance for you from the coaching staff:
- If you are NOT feeling well, please do NOT come to practice. I have attached some documentation to help guide you in your assessment of your health. Also, each LSW student can reach out to the school nurse and coordinate to have a quick COVID test administered. I have been told it’s free of charge to students. So, if you are not feeling well, and want to confirm if you have COVID, contact the LSW nurse ASAP. They will also help with contact tracing so we can get an idea of who could be exposed. If you do make an appt with the LSW Nurse, let me know ASAP so I can pass along the information to our AD.
- If you have been exposed to someone who is not feeling well, please do NOT come to practice until you can confirm that the sick person is COVID negative, or has recovered.
That’s it for now. We will meet again this Sunday evening just like yesterday. A-K at 5pm, and L-Z at 6pm.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
