Good Morning Lady Titan LAX Family,

I hope everyone had an opportunity to enjoy the weekend. We definitely had the perfect weather for it. It looks like we have ULAX games scheduled to start next week. Here’s what I can share with you as of this morning. The JV schedule has NOT been posted on the ULAX site yet. The Varsity schedule has, and I will share it with you here in this email…so please mark your calendars. I have heard that JV games will be on Tuesday evenings. We will know for sure once they post the schedule. That being said, JV players can expect their first game a week from tomorrow.

Here is what is on tap for this week.
- Monday 8 JUNE 6pm – 8pm: Practice at Hitt Park.
- Tuesday 9 JUNE 6pm – 8pm: Practice at Hitt Park.

Here’s the Varsity schedule as posted on the ULAX website (subject to change). All games will be played at the Scheels Soccer Park at 135th & Switzer in Overland Park. I don’t know if bathrooms or water fountains will be open, so please bring plenty of water to hydrate. I have attached a complex map showing you where to park, and where Field #10 is. I cannot remember if they have bleachers on-site, so I recommend you bring lawn chairs if you want to sit down.

- 25 JUNE @ 7pm. Field #10. LSW vs Shawnee Mission
- 29 JUNE @ 8pm. Field #10. LSW vs KC Yellow

- 20 JULY @ 9pm. Field #10. LSW vs Sion

Now, on to refunds. For those who have not received their refund check yet from the LSW LAX Board, here’s the latest update from our Treasurer:

“There was an issue with the refunds to be issued via check, I worked with the LSW Booster club treasurer yesterday to resolve the issue. I followed up today to get a new ETA, but still have not heard back. I am hopeful they will be issued in the next few days. The school district suspended the disbursement of funds during the “stay at home order”, but agreed to disburse the refunds I requested since the funds belong to our club. However, the process has been complicated by and therefore delayed, with the school closure and people self quarantining. Refunds requested via Paypal have all been received, but checks require multiple signatures. I will provide a new date for receipt of checks as soon as I have one." So, based on this update, all checks are expected to be issued and mailed by end of this week. If you are waiting on a check, and did not get it in the mail by Friday, please let me know.
