Hello Lady Titan LAX Family,

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday Memorial Day weekend. Now that we are finally done with school for this year, let’s get ready for the summer, and Summer ULAX. Here are the updates for this week:

- ULAX: We are set to start practices on next Monday evening 1 JUNE. Practices will be at Hitt Park in Greenwood. Make sure to watch your speed as you drive on Allendale Lake Rd in Greenwood as Greenwood PD likes to monitor that stretch of road. We will practice from 6pm-8pm (Weather permitting). Make sure to wear your LSW Practice Pinneys. I know some of you are wondering about how we practice while continuing to follow the Social Distancing guidelines. We will continue to monitor the guidance from Gov. Parsons and tailor practices accordingly. If parents are hesitant about having their daughters participating in practice, please feel free to keep them home. We completely understand. Based on the latest numbers, we currently have the largest team in the metro participating in ULAX with around 40 girls. Today is the final day to register if you have not yet. Due to our large numbers, we will be separating the players into a Varsity and JV teams. Our coaching staff plans to use the V/JV rosters that we announced in March after tryouts as a foundation on how we will separate the teams. We will be re-announcing the rosters soon. The targeted start date for ULAX games is Thursday 18 JUNE. Once I receive a schedule, I will be sure to share it with the team.

- Refunds: If you have requested a refund from this last Spring season, please know that all refunds requests have been forwarded to the LSW Booster Club treasurer for processing. You should start seeing your refunds within the next 7-10 days. If you have NOT received your refund by 1 JUNE, please reach out to our LSW LAX Board Treasurer Dalila Perry at dalilaperry@gmail.com

That’s it for this week. I hope to see all of you next Monday at practice. If we have to cancel practice for any reason (i.e. weather), I will use the Teampages texting function to get the word out.
