Good Morning Lady Titan LAX Family,

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. We have a busy week ahead, so i want to make sure everyone knows what is coming up:

• Tuesday 12 NOV – Girl’s Lacrosse Informational Meeting at 7pm in LSW Bateman Hall. This meeting is designed to inform anyone who may be interested in playing lacrosse. We want to talk to anyone who has NOT played a single outdoor Spring season with us…the coaching staff will discuss the game, the team, upcoming activities, the cost, the equipment, etc…also, if you know of someone who may be interested and wants to know more about it, share the time/place information so they can make it to the meeting.

• Wedesday 13 NOV – Danielle Cobbett signs her National Letter of Intent. This will be National Signing Day, and Danielle Cobbett will be signing her letter to commit to playing college lacrosse at Aurora University. The ceremony will be in the LSW Field House right after school (2:45pm) If you can make it, come to the ceremony wearing Lacrosse swag, and show your support for our Varsity Team Captain! Congrats, Dani!

That’s it for this week…please note that Registration for the upcoming Spring season is quickly approaching. We would love to have some volunteers to help out as it can get busy as parents & players come in to register. Here are the details again:

Spring 2020 Registration
Here are the two dates:
- Saturday 7 DEC: 9am – 1pm in the LSW Library is Day 1 of Registration for the 2020 Spring season.
- Wednesday 11 DEC: 5pm – 8pm in the LSW Library is Day 2 of Registration for the 2020 Spring season (in case you could not make it to Day 1).
New players will need to try on uniforms to get properly sized, so please be ready to try on the uniform when you arrive. New players will also have the opportunity to chose their jersey number from available numbers when they arrive.
For the new players who will be joining our family for the first time, here’s a list of fees you can expect so you can be better prepared for registration:
IMPORTANT – PAYMENT FOR REGISTRATION IS VIA CASH OR CHECK ONLY, NO CREDIT CARDS.
- Annual Club Due = $225
- Cost of Uniform of which you will own (skirt and reversible top) = $102 ($58 for the top, $44 for the skirt)
- Socks = $10/pair (we recommend 2 pairs)
- US Lacrosse Membership = $35/year. This will need to be done at www.uslacrosse.org and pay via credit card and must be valid through 1 JUNE 2020.
Also, we are planning on having Spiritwear available for ordering or for purchase (as well as the favorite swag item, the Boathouse jacket) so bring extra money. Don’t forget that our online spiritwear store in now active and taking orders until 17 NOV. Here’s the link:

Also, before the start of the Spring season (last week of FEB), each player will be required to have a valid Sports physical on file on the LSR7 PRIVT website. (The sports office will not accept paper copies). Any player without a valid sports physical on file will NOT be allowed to step on the field when the Spring season officially starts. If you have a current physical on file, please confirm with Monte Seabaugh in the Sports office that your physical will be valid for Spring 2020.

One last item:
We are placing our helmet order this Wednesday. If you asked for a helmet, but haven’t paid us, we will NOT order you one unless you pay us by Wednesday. If you want a helmet, please let me know ASAP and pay me (or Coach Ernie) by Wednesday, or you will not get yours ordered. Text me at 816-977-5707 with any questions.
They are regularly priced at $150, Coach Ernie negotiated them down to $105.

That’s it for now…there was quite a bit of information this week. If there are any action items you can take care of prior to Registration (i.e. US Lacrosse membership, sports physical), please try to get those things taken care of so you don’t have to worry about it later.
