Good Morning Lady Titan LAX Family,

Now that we are back to school, I wanted to start my weekly emails to all of you to keep everyone informed about what’s coming up. Here’s what you need to know!

- Freshman Transition Day – We had about 7 of our players who graciously volunteered to speak to Freshman female students who were interested in learning more about our family. At the end of the three club-rush sessions, we had 25 names on the signup sheet of freshman girls who were interested in learning more.

- Fall Ball 7v7 – Registration for Fall Ball 7v7 is still open. If you are interested in participating, but have not signed up, go to www.kcgirlslax.com, click the Register Now button, and complete the registration. Make sure to choose LSW Titans as your team.

- Fall Indoor sessions – Fall indoor sessions at Lakeland Community Church are set to start on Tuesday 10 SEPT. We will have 8 sessions on Tuesday nights from 10 SEPT – 29 OCT from 7pm – 9pm. Cost will be $80 for all 8 sessions. Please bring your payment with you on the first night.

Also, I would like to congratulate our new LSW Lacrosse Board President Hope MacKenzie, who was voted into the position last Thursday evening at the Board meeting. Our new board will have equal representation from both the Boy’s and Girl’s teams, which is exactly what we strive for. Thank you to the following Board members for donating your time and talents to make sure our club is well taken care of for the upcoming season :

- Jennifer Ward

Also, thank you to Ronda Brown, Claudia Boosman and Brady Cantrell for volunteering to help with multiple Board committees. I appreciate you representing our team so well.

I would also like to personally extend my appreciation to Steve Oliver for serving as the LSW LAX Club President for the last 2 years. Thank you for a job well done!
