Lady Titan LAX Family,

Week 2 of the 2019 season is upon us. We had some really close games vs LS North this past week, one of them a double-overtime heart breaker. We will continue to build from each game and get better every day.

Thank you to all those that braved the elements last Saturday for the games vs our friends up north. I think playing those games really helped the players and coaching staff, and I am sure it can only help us moving forward. Also, thank you to those players who volunteered to help out LSHS. Getting that extra playing time can only help in their development.

This week starts our “2-games a week” schedule until the last week of the season, so we’ll be very busy. Here’s what we have coming up for this week:
Monday 1 APRIL – Outdoor practice at 5pm. We will also have our Team Feeding at the Taylor Scott Family home immediately following practice. I will text out the address on today.

Tuesday 2 APRIL – Our Home Opener vs Blue Valley. JV Game at 5:30pm, Varsity at 7:00pm. Anyone wanting to volunteer to help with gameday preparations and breakdown, please be at the stadium by 4:45pm at the latest. We need help with setting up pylons and setting up Senior Banners. JD Warner will run the clock and scoreboard. Hope MacKenzie will keep the scorebook at the table. (Thank you to all those who are helping). Invite your friends and family to come out and watch…the weather should be very good for lacrosse.

Wednesday 3 APRIL – Outdoor practice at 5pm. We will also have our Team Feeding at the Faith Lilly Family home immediately following practice. I will text out the address on Wednesday.

Thursday 4 APRIL – League game vs Park Lacrosse. This is an away game. Their field does not have lights, so we will have to start earlier than we are used to. The address is below. I have also attached a map that shows you exactly where their game field is:

Varsity game at 5:00pm, JV game at 6:15pm.
Expect a 45 min drive. I would like to have any parents willing to drive players to meet me in the LSW parking lot at 3:15pm and leave for Happy Rock at 3:30pm. That will get us there around 4:15pm for warmups. The weather forecast is currently at 80% chance of rain. Please be on the lookout for text messages just in case we have to postpone the game due to wet weather or wet fields.

St. Louis Play Date (Varsity Only) – 5 & 6 APRIL
We will submit the roster to the school, so all varsity players will be excused from school on Friday 5 APRIL. I would like all players to be on-site 1 hour before game time to get dressed, cleats on, and start warmups.

There has been a slight change in the schedule for this weekend, so please make note of the new game times. We will no longer have back-to-back games on Saturday.

Saturday 6 APRIL:
10:15 CJA v. LSW on the turf
12:45 LHS v. LSW on the turf
