Lady Titan LAX Family,

First, what a great night for the Titans last night. Our JV team defeated the only team to beat them this season. Then our Varsity team beat the SM Varsity team 10-6…even while playing down a person for the last 9 minutes of the game. So, moving forward for the rest of this week, I wanted to give everyone updates on what’s going on…first, if you have seen the weather forecast, you should know that possible severe weather is being forecasted for the next couple of days, so I will ask for some flexibility as we try to get the remaining games in while battling bad weather and wet fields. Here’s what is going on:

Tuesday 1 MAY – Practice and Team Feeding. I know there are quite a few players out for practice tonight due to Cavalcade of Bands…if you aren’t in band, please be at practice.

Wednesday 2 MAY – Senior Night at home vs LSHS. JV game is at 5:30pm, then our Senior Night activities, then Varsity game afterwards.

Thursday 3 MAY – Last Regular Season game vs LS North HS. This is currently scheduled as a home game at LSW. Depending on weather and field conditions, the date, time and/or the venue can change. If any changes happen, I will be sure to communicate it out. As for right now, plan on a 5:30pm JV game, 7:00pm Varsity at LSW.

Friday 4 MAY – JV ONLY Game vs St. Teresa’s JV. This is a rescheduled game from last week when we had to play the Varsity game at STA in the rain. This will be for the JV team only at LSW’s stadium. Game time is at 6:00pm

Playoffs start this Sunday 6 MAY.

Based on last night’s JV win, we have all but secured one of the top 4 spots in the JV bracket, which means there is a 99.9% chance we will play a JV semi-final game on Sunday afternoon, so please make sure to plan accordingly.

As for the Varsity team, with last night’s victory vs SM, we have pretty much secured our position to stay in the top division for next season, and we will need to see which seed we will be assigned in the post-season. Depending on which seed we will be will determine if we play our quarterfinal game on Monday or Tuesday evening.
