Lady Titan LAX Family,

First, I just want to say how proud I am of how our Varsity girls played in St. Louis this past weekend. Although we did not win any games, we were the best performing team of the three KC area teams that attended. I did get some feedback from parents of the STL teams and a couple of college coaches that we looked really good on the field, and showed a great deal of fight. I want to thank all of the players for their effort on the field, and all of the parents that came to STL to cheer them on! We truly set the standard.

Here were the scores:
Friday vs Marquette : 8-15 Loss
Saturday vs Lafayette: 7-8 Loss
Saturday vs Westminster Christian Academy: 6-11 Loss

Now we move on to Week 4 of the season. Here’s what is on the schedule for us:

Monday 16 APRIL: Practice. Based on our weather from this weekend, we may have to go indoors, but I heard we did not get a lot of rain, so our field may be OK. Plan on it being outdoors unless we are told we can’t use the field. It will be cool, so dress for the weather.

Tuesday 17 APRIL: Non-Divisional Game vs St. James Academy @ LSW Stadium. JV game at 5:30pm, Varsity at pm. Please be on the field by 4:45pm in white uniforms.

Wednesday 18 APRIL: Practice and Team Feeding @ Ashlynn Boydston’s House. I’ll text out the address on Wednesday.

Thursday 19 APRIL: Game #6 vs Park @ Happy Rock Park (7600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO 64119). JV Game is first at 5:15pm, then Varsity at 6:45pm. I would like to be there by 4:30pm. Based on distance and traffic, I would plan on 30-45 mins to get there, so I am planning on leaving at 3:45pm.

Friday 20 APRIL: Nothing

Saturday 21 APRIL: JV Tournament in Columbia. I had sent out an email about this earlier last week with the schedule and map to the fields. Our first game is at 11am. I plan on arriving at 10am, so I will be leaving LSMO around 8am. We are also planning on going to Shakespeare’s Pizza after our last game so we can spend more time together and celebrate what I hope will be 3 wins for the day.
