Behind the strong pitching by Mike Smith and timely hitting, the Dawgs ran their seasonal record to 5-0 with an 8-2 win against a solid Avenger team.
Mike Smith (3-0), who went the distance, struck out seven and allowed just four hits.
Key RBI singles by Ethan White, AJ Greene, and Anthony DeCotis allowed Cranston to take a five-run lead which they never relinquished.Defensively, Anthony Nardolillo played a sterling 1st base for the Dawgs .
