Led by the pitching of Jack Kesner (7 strikeouts in five innings) and he hitting of Liam Flynn, Jayson Edwards, Alan and Carpenter (two rbi’s each), Chariho defeated the Knights, 13-1.

The Coventry Connie Mack Baseball team won their first game of the year over Westerly, 9-6!

Vogie took advantage of two first inning runs on one hit, three walks and a couple passed balls to secure all the runs they would need to claim victory over Slocum.

In the third inning, they added another run to end the scoring on a warm July night.

The Vogie pitching combo of Andrew Jones and Cam Connor held Slocum to 4 hits.

Although Slocum threaten on a number of occasions, Vogie’s defense and pitching carried them to victory by not allowing any of those base runners to score.

Slocum pitchers only gave up five hits during the game, however, they issued nine walks.

Collecting hits for Vogie were Jonathan Jones (2) along with Cam Connor, Matt Gale and Danny Desilets each collecting a hit a piece

The East Providence Knights defeated Warwick PAL, 5-1.

After receiving thirteen walks and nine hits, West Warwick won their third game of the year, 13-5, over defending champion, Flood Ford Auto.

Calvin Battersby, who hit a Grand Slam in the second inning, picked up the victory by allowing just one earned run and striking out six batters in four innings of work.

Offensively, WWCM was lead by Sean White (2/3, one double, one run scored & two rbi’s), Alex Johnson (1/4, one run scored), Kyle DaSilva (2 for 4, two runs scored), Sammy Corrado (1/2, two runs scored), Batterbsy (2/4, one home run, two runs scored and four rbi’s), Dominic Carollo (2/4, one double, one run scored and three rbi’s) and Nick Brown (three walks and two runs scored).

For Flood Ford, who scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, they received hits from Own Leahy, Griffen Craig (2/4, one run scored), Jason Pilderian (1/2, one rbi), Jack Hornstein (1/2, one run scored) and Nolan LaPerche.
