Led by the hitting of Chase Joubert and the solid pitching of Dominic Carollo, West Warwick opened up their Connie Mack season with a 13-3 victory over Warwick PAL.

After falling behind 1-0, Warwick PAL took a 2-1 lead with hits by Chris Banoch, Andrew Frenze and Brandon Lajole in the bottom of the first inning.

While Carollo settled in by pitching four scoreless innings, WWCM scored 9 runs to take a 10-2 lead after five innings.

In the top of the third inning, Kyle DaSilva lead off with a single, moved to third a double by Chase Joubert and both players scored on a two-run single by Josh Pedus.

The Orange and Black scored six runs in the fourth on two hit batsmen, one walk and hits by Sammy Corrado (double), Liam Gravier (single) and Chase Joubert (single).

In the sixth, West Warwick scored three runs, courtesy of a three-run home run by Joubert.

Dominic Carollo, who struck out five batters in six innings of work, earned the win by giving up three runs (only one earned) on five hits and two walks.
