The South Kingstown/Narragansett Lions edged Flood Ford 2-1 on a sixth inning rbi triple by Koko Kassabian.
The game proved to be an epic pitchers dual with the Lions Brendan Flaherty and Tyler Macnamara combining for seven innings, seven strike outs and only giving up four hits.
Flood Ford’s starter Nolan LaPerche threw a brilliant 5 2/3 striking out five and only allowing two hits.
Koko Kassabian led the Lions offense going 2-2 with two triples and a run scored and an RBI for the winning run.
Jack Hornstein went 2-3 with a RBI double that scored Flood’s only run of the game.
