Entries - Track Meet - February 10th at Yongkers High School

Hello,

Next track meet will be on Saturday, February 10th at Youngkers High School, 3000 S Apache Road, Buckeye, AZ 85326 at 8am. ALL athletes should be there by 7am and sit in the first section closest to the finish line..... 9/10 parents will be scheduled to work the clerking table.

Please check the Entry Sheets for accuracy.  Entries are due to be turned in each Tuesday the week of a track meet. IF YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE RUNNING IN THIS MEET, PLEASE LET ME KNOW NO LATER THAN MONDAY, FEBRUARY 2, 2018.

We will not be wearing uniforms again in this track meet.  If you have a uniform, please DO NOTwear it. Please have your child wear black shorts or tights and a red shirt.  Preferably tight fitting or compression type wear.
 
This meet has indoor events please check sheets for events.  Those listed in a field event must practice on Monday.    
  • Uniforms have been ordered.
  • If your child is not listed and will be competing in track meets, please send their name, parents name and date of birth to azcheetahs@yahoo.com.  Those doing training only should not be listed.
SIDE NOTE:  THE FLAGSTAFF MEET WILL BE REPLACED WITH A REGULAR MEET TO BE HELD AT CHANDLER HIGH.  WE WILL HAVE CONCESSIONS AT THIS MEET.  MORE DETAILS TO COME.

Donations and Sponsorships

We need your help.... In a push to raise money for Regionals and Nationals and to help support our athletes that cannot afford the costs involved to participate, I have attached our Sponsorship Letter and ask that each of you send out to your friends, coworker and family members.

If you do not like asking for money or don't know what to say, a simple email forwarding my Sponsorship Letter and a note saying:

IT'S OFFICIAL NAU Cancellation

As most of you have heard the Indoor Classic at Northern Arizona University was cancelled due to a scheduling conflict with the school. We have been going to this meet for 26 years and I know we are disappointed.
 
I am pleased to announce we will host the Indoor Classic at Chandler High School on Saturday, February 17th. Same exact format and schedule just at Chandler High School. Please mark your calendars to attend. 

The Arizona Cheetahs have concessions and clerking.... I believe at that meet the 11/12 will be working the clerking table while everyone else get to work concessions.

As before, EVERYONE has to help make sure the track is clean before we leave.  I will schedule a different set of dads to head up clean up at this meet.

This is our home field so let's make this a GREAT meet!!!

We will need donations again.... taking inventory and will let you know what we need.

Join us... The last Fundraiser was a success.  I know this is a practice day, but you can order online and pick up on your way home.  Help support your team.  We want to help you get to Nationals but you have to help.  See you guys there.
