Greenwich YMCA Winter Invitational Meet Announcement
January 22-24, 2016
MEET REMINDERS:
WHAT: Marlins Winter Invitational
WHERE: Greenwich YMCA (50 E. Putnam Ave., Greenwich CT 06830)
WHEN: Friday, January 22, Saturday, January 23 and Sunday, January 24
WARM-UP TIMES: Friday - 4PM
Saturday and Sunday 11-12 and 13&O AM sessions - 7:15AM (*please note time change from 7:30AM*).
Saturday and Sunday 10&U PM sessions - 1PM
Saturday and Sunday Finals - 4:30PM.
**Finals
are for the 11-12 and 13&O swimmers who qualify for any final
event. If swimmer made finals and did not scratch, he/she must attend
the session. If swimmer fails to compete, he/she will be barred from
future competition in the meet.***
PLEASE NOTE:
- Timer requirements for Orca Team:
-
Saturday and Sunday 11-12 AM session - 1 timer each morning
-
Saturday and Sunday 10 & U PM session - 1 timer each afternoon

Sunday 13&O AM session - 1 timer
Please let coaches know ASAP if you can time. Session can be shared, No experience needed!
- ? A decision will be made no later than 5:00am on Saturday regarding any changes to the meet due to the snow. Please check your emails before leaving the house.
- Bring your deck chairs!
- Only athletes, coaches, officials, and official meet staff actively participating in the meet are permitted on the pool deck.
- There will be no parking at the YMCA parking lots. We encourage all parents to car pool as much as possible. There will be parking at the following locations (see attached map):
a. Lower Mason Street Parking lot (across from the bank).
b. Municipal parking behind the First Presbyterian Church located at the top of Greenwich Ave on Lafayette Place.
c. Chase Bank Parking lot on Saturday and Sunday only.
d. Free street parking is available on Sunday.

12& Under swimmers – 7:15am (1 timer needed)
13& Over swimmers - 12:00pm (2 timers needed)
PLEASE NOTE:

12 & Under session – 1 timer
13 & Over session – 2 timers
Let coaches know ASAP if you can time.
Session can be shared.
No experience needed!
