All Orca's Swim Club (ICSC) families have been invited to join the team site as Members by email sent to by the host site. Some areas of the site are only available to view after a Member (only)  has logged in. Non-members may not view those pages (privacy policy)

"Fans" who are not family members of ICSC may email the webmaster for permission to join as a Fan.Fans may then login to see only those private pages that are setup to allow Fans & Members to view, not to view Member-only pages.

Coach Danil Tyulmankov

Danil Tyulmankov was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, seventeen years ago. He has lived in America for ten years, in Stamford for nine of them. He started swimming at the age of eight at the JCC, and was soon taken under the wing of Head Coach Ausra at the Italian Center.

He swam for the Orcas for almost eight years, and then for the Westhill-Stamford High School team. Since then, he has volunteered at the IC for three seasons, helping out with the younger groups, and is now working with the entire swim team as an assistant coach.

Head Coach Ausra McKenna

Ausra began her competitive swimming career in Lithuania at the age of five. She continued swimming through high school and college and was a member of the Lithuanian Olympic swim team. Her experience includes coaching positions for over 20 years in both Europe and the United States.She is a Physical Education teacher at Long Ridge School in North Stamford where she also runs after-school games.

Several of Ausra's swimmers have qualified for USA National and Junior National meets, and have achieved collegiate All – American status. Locally, Ausra previously coached the Darien Piranhas Swim Club and Convent of Sacred Heart High School and is now in her 12th year as head coach of the Orca's Italian Center Swim Club.

Inclement Weather

In the past we had some miscommunication regarding inclement weather and swim meets or practice.

In case of inclement weather, please call the IC front desk at 203-322-6941 to determine what alternate arrangements have been made for practice or swim meets.
