2ND ANNUAL STHA ADULT/CHILD CAPTAIN & CREW GOLF TOURNAMENT

The 2nd Annual STHA Adult/Child Captain & Crew 9-Hole Golf

Tournament was held on Saturday May 22nd, 2010 at the River Run II Golf Course.

We had a great day for golf.  The children had such a wonderful time, we hope the word spreads about what an enjoyable experience we all had, growing attendance in years to come.

A special thanks to Jim O'Shea, Cindy O'Shea, and Denise O'Brien for organizing  such a wonderful event!  The STHA would also like to thank Al Gorick for allowing us to use such a beautiful facility and taking part in the day's activities.

3 ON 3 PRACTICE AT BLADE SPORTS

The STHA will be holding 3 on 3 practices at Blade Sports on Sundays until

July 4th 2010. 

Blade Sports is located just outside of the City of Binghamton at 589 Conklin Rd. (Behind Jane's Diner and next to Pop's Sugar Shack).

The cost is $5.00 per player.

08:30am - 09:30am Pee Wee Division

09:30am - 10:30am Squirt Division

10:30am - 11:30am Dyno Division

2010-2011 TRAVEL TEAM ROSTERS

The STHA completed tryouts for our 2010-2011 Travel Teams on May 2nd 2010.

PLEASE NOTE: The existence of the Pee Wee C Travel Team will be determined in August 2010. The team will only exist if there are enough players to accommodate four 12-player (including 1 goalie) teams in the House Division.

POTENTIAL PEE WEE C & 16U DIVISION TRAVEL TEAM COACHES 2010-2011

The STHA is currently soliciting Letters of Intent for the 2010-2011 Pee Wee C and 16U travel team coaching positions.

 

NOTE:  The Pee Wee C Travel Team will exist only if there are enough players to accomodate four 12-player (including 1 goalie) teams in the House Division.  Also note that in the event a Pee Wee C Travel Team does exist, this team will be in lieu of a Pee Wee Select team.

 

All potential travel coaches must present a letter of intent to the Travel Director (Eric Miles at edm82@cornell.edu) by 5:00PM on 04/30/2010. This letter of intent should also include a resume of all coaching qualifications.

 

The Travel Director will recommend a head coach for approval by the Board of Directors at a special session to be held the evening of 04/30/2010. Once a head coach has been selected, coaches will be notified by the Travel Director. Any board member that is also requesting a coaching position will not be allowed to take part in the special session while their particular division is being discussed. Allowing them to take part would give them an unfair advantage over other coaches.
