Ouzo fall back to .500 for the season

SOCCER CITY, ETOBICOKE -
Ouzo F.C showed that indoor soccer must be played for an entire 40 minutes. After leading most of the game and completely out-playing their opposition, the last minute proved to be the deciding factor.

Ouzo went up early after newcomer Matthew Smith fired a shot off the boards that landed right in front of Stuart Fletcher who finished nicely. That goal marked Stuart's 4th of the season. The scored stayed that way dispute numerous chances by the Ouzo faithful. They seemed to have the Bulls under pressure for most of the game, but we all know that game's are won by goals, not crossbars or posts.

With less than 3 minutes left in regulation and BEER on their minds, Ouzo yet again showed their fans why they have yet to see their team win a championship in the 1st division. Still up 1-0, a Bull's player fired a nice shot from the outside, which was saved initially by keeper Colin Wright. Unfortunately the rebound fell nicely for a Bull player, which he slotted home for the equalizer. No beer at Soccer City would make that one worth it.

Still in shock, Ouzo pushed for the win, which just wasn't happening that night. For the 2nd time in 4 games, Ouzo conceded a goal in the final minute to lose.
This was also the second time the team has lost 2-1 this season.

After 8 games, the team sits at 4-4 will still a legitimate chance at the 3rd seed for the play-offs.  The team will have to win their next two games to achieve that goal.
Next game is Sunday at 12:45pm.
