Parent/Player meeting start moves to 5PM because of the later Freshman practice time.

We realize that the JV/Freshman team rosters are not quite set yet, but hopefully they will settle down in the next couple of days. Please plan to attend the meeting anyhow.

Dear Player and Parent’s,

We are looking forward seeing you at the player and parent season kick-off meeting on Monday August 27 at Lincoln Fields at 5:00 pm.

The main intent of this meeting is to:

Explain the role of the LHS Booster Club
Explain cross- and within team communications
Handout of practice uniforms
Introduce Booster Club Website
Present volunteer opportunities – especially PR for the varsity team and the end of season banquet coordinator
We also need team liaisons for the JV and Freshmen teams. (Volunteer using https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0d48acaa2aa4f85-allteams or the button to the left).
September 5th recognition fundraiser for TOPSoccer – First home game of the season, played under the lights at Lincoln Turf#2.
Pizza and drinks will be served.

The Freshmen Luncheon will happen at 11:30 am in the Commons 1 on Wednesday August 22nd

This luncheon is a good opportunity for students to meet the program’s coaches and captains. Please attend if you are an incoming 9th grader.

Tryouts

Tryouts take place Thursday 8/23- Saturday 8/25

Freshmen (incoming 9th graders ONLY): 10:30-12:30 Thursday – Saturday at Lincoln Fields

All other players trying out for JV/Varsity: 4:30 PM-6:30 PM Thursday, 1:00-3:00 PM Friday and Saturday also at Lincoln Fields.

Season kickoff meeting.

LHS boys’ soccer gathering for players, parents and coaches is planned for Monday August 27th at 4:45 pm at the Lincoln gazebo. Pizza will be served.

The meeting is held shortly after the first practice for Freshmen is over and is a good opportunity for parents to meet each other and learn more about the program and the season ahead. Please plan to attend even if you come a bit late.

Dear soccer players and parents,

The preseason clinic is a week away and to be closely followed by tryouts. To date we have 66 boys registered for the clinic.
