There’s a new No. 1 in the Globe’sTop 20 boys’ soccer poll. Nauset has started a perfect 9-0 and has unseated Brockton for the top spot after the Boxers have lost two in a row. No. 8 Lincoln-Sudbury earned a thrilling win over Concord-Carlisle in the nightcap of the Kicks for Cancer tournament. Needham enters the poll at No. 13 after a solid draw with Lexington Saturday upped their record to 6-1-2. Teams are selected by the Globe sports staff based on scores reported to the Globe.

The article is about Arlington, but the pictures are good of our boys who got the 1-0 win. (Ignore the captions).

Arlington scored 22 times during a 5-0 start, which ended with a 1-0 loss to Lexington on Thursday, but it’s the Spy Ponders ability to come through in the second half that is more telling.
