And thank you to the fans who came out to support all of our teams. You helped to make the experience special for our kids.

Three teams of younger Hilltoppers will be off representing our league the next two weekends in area tournamwents.

Two teams of 7- and 8-year-olds from Clairemont Hilltoppers will participate in the fourth annual Mission Bay Little League "Little Stars" tournament on June 14-17.

Our kids will be playing teams from throughout our District 32 with schedules as follows:

The following weekend, June 22-24, our 9-Year-Old team, managed by Tony Majam, will be competing at Scripps Ranch Little League in their second annual tournament.

Their opening game in this tournament will be on Friday, June 22 at 5 p.m. They will also have games on Saturday and Sunday (three total), but times will be determined by the results of Friday's play. All games in this tourney will be at Jerabek Park in Scripps Ranch.

These have become great season-ending highlights for the younger players from our league, as they get a chance to play against new kids and at a different ballfield in a weekend full of baseball.

Come out and cheer on all of these teams as they play tournament ball for the first time!

Final Work Party Friday, March 1st

Posted by Ken Cicalo at May 27, 2008 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

With Opening Day on Saturday, we will be doing a final cleaning and spruce-up on Friday afternoon, March 1st to get us to our bright and shiny best for the big day.

If you have any time between 2 p.m. and dark on Friday, come on down to Cadman and grab a broom, rake, hose, etc. No practices will be held at Cadman on that day, so we can focus on getting everything ready for the next morning, which kicks off with T-Ball games at 7:45 a.m. We are expecting to be on KUSI-TV on Saturday, so we of course want to show all of San Diego what a beautiful complex we have for Clairemont Hilltoppers.

Thanks very much to the parents and coaches who have worked so very hard the past few weekends to to get us close to being ready for the season. Show your appreciation for what they have done and what we have. Come out Friday and let's make Cadman Park sparkle on Opening Day!
