2009 12-U Teal Staff

Posted by Richard Hiscox at Jan 23, 2009 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )

This year we welcome back some players whose turn it is to give back.

Liz Maxwell a standout at Ellington High for three years and a Bomber for the last six years playing 2 years each at 14-U, 16-U, and 18-U. I was honored to Manage Liz for both years at 14-U and keep track of her exploits for the remaining 4 years. Liz was also my coach last season with the 10-U team that did quite well over all.

Meagan Riemann currently a pitcher for  College in NJ. Meg also played 14-U, 16-U and her second year of 18-U (this season) with us while losing her way for her first year of 18-U last year with another organization Meg has returned to her home to complete her Travel Ball career.

Chrissy Bourgoin, a two-time All State player for Lyman Memorial in Lebanon, Chrissy has played her only two years of travel ball (16-U in 2007 & 2008) with the Bombers. I was honored to Manage her team last season. This year she will be playing her first year of 18-U with another organization but we trust she will find the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence, In the mean time she will be working with this team of young ladies.

I (Rich Hiscox) will Manage the team for this season. While having managed or coached with the Bombers for several years it is the first time in many years at the 12-U level. For 4 of the last 5 years I have managed the 10-U and either 14-U or 16-U teams. I am looking forward to going from wire to wire with one group, this group, of talented young ladies that I believe though young, can do something special.
