Sotiropoulos Expected to Join Chiefs Tonight, Macrina Returns from Injury

Medford-Division II Northeast Region first team selection Rick Sotiropoulos of Merrimack College is expected to be in the Chiefs lineup tonight when they travel to Woburn.
Sotiropoulos spent much of 2006 pre-season with the Chiefs before signing with Edenton, NC, of the Coastal Plain League. He was third in the Northeast 10 batting race this past spring hitting .381.
The catcher-outfielder will hopefully bring some spark to a young Chiefs lineup that has struggled throughout the season.
It has also been reported that veteran outfielder Brian Macrina will be back in the Chiefs lineup tonight after missing the better part of three weeks with a wrist injury. He is one of the Chiefs all-time hitting leaders.
