Soccer Community Nights!!

Posted by Mary Shontz at Oct 2, 2005 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
The Soccer Community Nights have been scheduled! Community night is a fun filled evening when BASA teams are invited by the Blackhawk School District to participate in the evening’s activities, to be recognized and to help celebrate the evening with the Jr. High School, Jr. Varsity and Varsity teams. The BASA Players will be acknowledged with their coach and welcomed onto the High School Fields to help pay tribute to the Varsity players. Our hope is to make this a special night for both the Varsity players and the BASA players. For the Varsity players it is a time to reflect on the years that they have spent playing, practicing and enjoying the game of soccer. For the BASA Players it is a time to look into the future, see the possibilities and be inspired to continue practicing and playing the game of soccer. Parents and Coaches your child/players attendance at this event is necessary to make this evening a success. When considering whether you will attend, please remember that some day in the future it will be your child’s turn to be recognized. Traditions can only occur if we have the support of the parents, coaches and players! BASA Board of Directors strongly encourages all players, parents and coaches to participate. The Blackhawk School District has scheduled two separate community nights: Boys/Men’s Community Night- Tuesday, October 11th All coaches and players are to meet at the main entrance to the High School Soccer Field at 5:30pm. Festivities will begin promptly at 6:00p. Girls/Women’s Community Night- Wednesday, October 12th All coaches and players are to meet at the main entrance to the High School Soccer Field at 5:00pm the procession will begin at the end of the Jr. Varsity game.
