The BV Renegades Maroon team defeated the Tallahassee Baseball Club 11-4 Friday morning at Space Coast Stadium in Viera,FL to claim the 2010 AAU 18/19U National Championship. The Renegades finished the tournament at 8-1 and finished the summer 2010 season with a 36-4-1 overall record. Krey Bratsen, Chance Bolcerek, Andrew Brown, Michael Todaro and Chase Wellbrock were selected to the All-Tournament team. The Renegades were also awarded the sportsmanship award. Congratulations to all players on an outstanding tournament.

BV Renegades to play for AAU National Championship
The BV Renegades Maroon team (35-4-1) won a pair of games Thursday to advance to the championship game of the 18/19U AAU Nationals in Viera, Fl. The Renegades defeated Tuscaloosa Baseball 5-2 in the quarterfinals Thursday morning and then defeated the Georgia Wiregrass Colts 10-0 in the semifinals later that day. The Renegades advanced to the final 8 bracket for the 7th consecutive year by going 2-1 in opening pool play and 3-0 in championship pool play. The National Championship game will be televised live online at spacecoastsportstv.com at 9:30am central time. The Renegades have advanced to the AAU National title game 3 times in the past 6 years.
