La Mesa National Little League enjoyed a Fly By at their 2016 Opening Day ceremonies, courtesy of Walter Bagdasarian, who is the owner and pilot of the 1952 North American T-6G. He is dad to Minors players, Royce Bagdasarian,. Walter volunteered his time to provide this special opening day event for two years now. The players’ excitement was incredible as he approached the field, flew over releasing a plume of smoke, banking over the field and returning to the landing field. He approached me last year and wanted to do that for our league. So this is the second year he has done it for us.
