Lake Shore Lightning 10u

The 10 & Under Lake Shore Lightning win the 2006 NSA Maryland State Championship. The Lightning faced the Maryland Stars on Wednesday, July 12th to complete the NSA MD State Championship tournament that was rained out on June 24th.  The Lake Shore Lightning and the Maryland Stars have enjoyed a friendly rivalry all season and look forward to more great games in the future. The entire Lake Shore Lightning team did a great job both offensively and defensively winning with a score of 9-1. Brittany Jones started as pitcher and did a great job keeping hits to a minimum. Hannah Tavik relieved Brittany in the 6th inning and continued to hold the Stars to just one run. Sydney LaMarsh hit a fantastic homerun in her 5th NSA Maryland State Championship game on the 10 & Under Lake Shore Lightning. This earns Sydney LaMarsh her 5th consecutive championship on the 10 & Under Lake Shore Lightning with Coach Terry Colebrook. Congratulations to Sydney and the girls, Coach Terry,  and the entire Lake Shore Lightning organization.
