Sorcerer 18 Gold - Mumma

Sorcerer coach John Rebstock has been selected as CIF North Coach Section Honor Coach for 2008.

Rebstock is only the 23rd coach ever so honored for the award, a NCS section coaching hall of fame of sorts and lifetime achievement award. Honor coaches are selected for coaching accomplishments, as well as for major contributions to the regional softball community.

Last year John was honored as California Coach of the Year for leading Heritage High School of Brentwood to the NCS East Bay 2A championship in the school's first year of varsity competition, a feat never before accomplished.

Rebstock is the second Sorcerer coach to be enshrined by NCS. Head Coach Phil Mumma was selected as an NCS Honor Coach during the 2001 season. Major props to John!
