Sorcerer 18 Gold - Mumma

Sorcerer would like to congratulate fellow NorCal teams San Jose Sting - Perales, Lady Sharks - Berrera, and Grapettes Gold for earning berths this weekend to the 2008 ASA 18 Gold Nationals, bringing the total to 4 NorCal teams who have qualified.

The Grapettes earned their berth by winning four consecutive games in the winner's bracket this weekend in the Western Territory Qualifier, while the Lady Sharks earned their berth with a 6-1 record and the Sting earned their berth with a 8-1 record through the loser's bracket.

Also earning berths were ther Washington Lady Hawks, the SoCal Explosion, and the SoCal Athletics.

A total of 80 teams competed for these 6 berths this weekend in Stockton, CA.

62 California teams are currently registered to compete in the Western Territory Qualifier in Seattle, WA July 11-13 in which 6 berths will be awarded.  This event represents the final opportunity for California teamsto qualify for 2008 Nationals.
