2014-15 RETURNING PLAYER INFORMATION
League info:
* 20-25 games including playoffs.
* Season runs from September 2014 to April 2015.
* Games primarily on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays. Usually one game per week, however the season will start slowly due to the closure of the South rink for the first two weeks of the season. Games start between 9:00 PM and 10:30 PM.
* First game of the season is scheduled for September 15th.
* You must be 21 years old by 12/31/14 in order to be eilgible to play in the league
* You must wear a facemask.
* The league will have 2 divisions A, which consists of A and B level players and B, which consists of B and C level players. The decision of which division you are placed in is at the sole discretion of the hockey committee.
Registration and Tryouts:
* Any player who did not play in the league last year is considered a new player.
* RETURNING PLAYERS MAY REGISTER ONLINE FOR THE LEAGUE VIA ACTIVE.COM OR WITH PAUL TOMANN AT THE RINK.
* All returning players from both divisions are invited to attend the evaluation/tryout sessions for practice.
* If you know you are returning to the league, please be sure to notify your team captain so Paul can assess how many openings we have for each division
Evaluation/Tryout dates:
* There is not an ice time charge to attend the evaluations/tryouts
* Wednesday. September 3, 2014 - 10:00-11:30 PM
* Monday. September 8, 2014 - 10:00 - 11:30 PM
* Thursday, September 11, 2014 - 10:00 - 11:30 PM
Fees (for returning players):
* You will be asked to pay two separate fees: the first is an ice fee (checks to City of Cleveland Heights) and is based on your residency, the second is a league fee and includes the cost of your jersey (checks made out to CHSHL). You are responsible for both amounts.
* Cleveland Heights Resident : $150 (ice fee) + $175 (league fee) = $325 total
* Non-Resident : $230 (ice fee) + $175 (league fee) = $405 total
