There has been a change made to the B.A.S.A. Rules & Regulations # 2a.
The Rule will now read as follows:
2a. If a team does not have enough players to field a team, the coach will solicit substitutes from the opposing team first. If the opposing coach denies the request, then you may openly recruit enough players to field a team. All recruited players must be of the same age group or younger and must be of the same division (i.e. girls division, boys division). NOTE: In case of extenuating circumstances (i.e. very hot weather, or health/safety related concerns, etc.) and if both coaches agree (in advance), then up to 2 additional players may be recruited for substitutions purposes.
