Announcement
After a five game losing streak, the Eagles notched their eigth win of the season bringing their overall record to 8-6-0. The 5-1 victory over the St Joe's Cadets qualifies Trumbull for the CIAC Hockey Tournament. This will be the Eagles fifth consecutive post season appearance.
The win did not come easy with three upper classmen out of the lineup and Trumbull trailing 1-0 at the end of the first period. Seniors Dan Miressi and Nick Watson took matters into their own hands- each with two goals and two assists. Derek Dimasi also scored for Trumbull.
