CIAC DII STATE FINALS
#9 TRUMBULL 4  vs #2 FARMINGTON 5
Highlights-
The Eagles got off to an early lead with goals from Dan Miressi, Ryan Criscoulo and Matt Christoffersen.  The high scoring Farmington Indians took advantage of some defensive zone turn-overs and scored four quick goals late in the second.  Dan Miressi tied the score in the third with his second of the game.  Charlie Ogalin was terrific in net and the Eagle defense pounded the Farmington forwards all night.  Trumbull had some great chances as they outplayed and outshot the Indians in the first overtime but it was a power play goal from the state's all-time goal scorer, Nick Bonnino, in the second overtime that ultimately broke the Eagles' hearts and brought their season to an end.
