Patrick Devore (14-9=23pts) scored one even strength, one short handed and one power play goal during Trumbull's 5-3 victory over rival Masuk High School. Brother, James Devore (9-9=18pts) added his own short handed goal off a Ryan Kisken pass. Nick Watson rounded out the scoring with a first period blast from the point. The win was Trumbull's thirteenth of the season breaking last season's school record of twelve regular season victories. After a tough 1-0 loss to DI power Greenwich, the Eagles finished with a solid 13-7-0 record and now await the DII state tournament. The 2002-2003 team still holds the record for total wins with fourteen, including two FCIAC play-offs victories. Trumbull's fourth place FCIAC finish will have them face Darien this Saturday 02/21 @ 6:00pm @ Terry Conners.
